An entirely different mission.
The premise requires a propulsion system capable of operating across take-off, acceleration and sustained hypersonic flight. No working engine, performance map or fuel model is claimed.
A compelling vision should make its unknowns visible. Here are the engineering questions behind VELA ONE.
ConceptThe premise requires a propulsion system capable of operating across take-off, acceleration and sustained hypersonic flight. No working engine, performance map or fuel model is claimed.
Sustained high-speed flight raises difficult questions around heating, materials, expansion, windows and maintenance. The silver exterior is a visual choice, not evidence of a solved thermal system.
The exterior model explores shape and identity. Wind-tunnel testing, CFD validation, structural analysis, mass budgets and stability remain unresolved.
Noise, sonic boom, airports, emergency scenarios and applicable certification requirements would shape any real programme. No approvals or compliance findings are represented here.
The current stage: an original brand, visual aircraft model and fictional mission.
Future work would need to establish propulsion, thermal and aerodynamic feasibility.
Only evidence, appropriate approvals and operational readiness could enable real service.
